full moon was an ice crystal halo
took half the mountain sky starting from center
no light is refracted at angles smaller than twentytwo degrees
rain for the dry ridges and valleys
low streams and rivers
unreliable but as certain
counting stars or wandering moon dogs
falling leaves just
eyes are the melting halo reflected
the rain is already in the dirt rocks trees leaves walking flying
hills are swells colored autumn leaves plankton rising to surface
mountains are billows
ridges are rollers
all the autumn leaves eyes burrowing walking flying the dappled sea
i ride on a fossil fuel ribbon thru
ocean of mountains swallow me
waves of mountains slowly subside
ripples of mountains into alluvial shore
on to ocean of water wanting mountains
one is the other the other is one
oceans and mountains
we are both love and nothing more
